Hellinsia calais (MEYRICK, 1930)

Costa Rica, Brazil

Type locality: Brazil, Pernambuco, Serra do Bernade

The species is characterized by the dark mottled wing pattern with an ferruginous-orange erect scale tuft on wing just before base of cleft. It differs from Oidaematophorus trachyploeus by the shape of the male genitalia.
