Seitz: Is light brownish Isabel-coloured, head and collar in front almost white, the forewing with fine black transverse lines, the posterior line forming deep bows between the veins, being dotted on the
veins; ring-macula and reniform macula yellowish-white, the latter traversed by a faint brownish shade; the undulate line is still somewhat lighter; at the anal angle a dark marginal line. Hindwing dark brownish-grey. Expanse of wings: 29 mm. From Costa Rica (Volcano of Poas).
